Description

'And at the closing of the day
She loosed the chain, and down she lay;
The broad stream bore her far away,
The Lady of Shalott.'
- Tennyson

The Lady of Shalott, by Tennyson, has always been my all time favourite poem ever since I was a child, and so I finally decided to a piece inspired by it:
'Singing in her song she died,
The Lady of Shalott.'

**due to the volume of pieces in my gallery, not all are set up for sale as prints.  If there is one that you wish I would list, please do not hesitate to ask, and I will certainly do so! (Sympatico watermark does NOT appear on prints)**

Shallots are one of the most underrated root vegetables out there, imo.

Shallots, turnips, parsnips, a leek, and your standard onion and carrot and garlic combination renders perhaps the most versatile and tasty stocks that you can freeze and use for just about anything.

Lancelot was a fool to jilt her. I wouldn't eat soup at his house for love nor money.
