Finally finished, I present, Capricorn, the final piece to my zodiac series. This one made me work for it, as well. I started and scrapped this piece about five times before I was happy with the result, but then, it is said that Capricorns are a stubborn and determined lot. I have a few in my life, and yes, stubborness abounds, but so does drive, purpose, loyalty, and ambition. All in all, they are never dull whether it's enjoying their company or wanting to rip my hair out by the roots because of them
Either way, they're keepers.

ok... seriously now... (snicker, giggle, smirk, grin)
Again, I love the intensity you've captured in her face.. especially the eyes and the set of the mouth... I like the hints of the goat horns in the staff and the lone horn of power (masculine) she wears. Interestingly enough Capricorn is a feminine sign (thtaaawwwwp it) .. sorry. (snicker.. smirk)... there seems to be (ok to me anyway) a hint of resistance and or trepidation of aforementioned journey... she appears to be leaning awaaaayyy from her pre-established destination... a case of once bitten, twice shy??? perhaps??? or is it just me? lol
love the raw, earthy, hand-stitched look of her rustic ranger appearance... nicely done... I see in the stitching, it suggests all kisses and no... hugs? whaaaat??? what's this? (shocked gasp) no cuddly, warm and fuzzy goat-ess?? hmmm...
In short... I love it! you've truly out-done yourself on the subtleties... again!
